Joining our Great Schools Trust Family
We are delighted you are considering joining a forward-thinking Trust that challenges the status quo.
Combining Experience and Growth for Collaborative Learning.
When we recruit, we seek to appoint a range of early career and more experienced practitioners to our schools. This enables us to achieve a balance of expertise and opportunities for all colleagues to learn from each other.
Ongoing development
As part of our Institute of Character and Leadership, we firmly believe in the need to develop our staff at every opportunity.
Our schools finish their teaching at lunchtime on a Friday allowing staff to engage in meaningful CPD (both whole-school and within academic departments and pastoral teams) during the afternoon, and we aim to ensure all meetings are held within the school working day.
Our People Strategy is also being further enhanced to ensure the well-being and retention of staff is our top priority.
Progression & Support
Our ‘appraisal’ system is built upon your own model of progression and support needs. We do not hold twice-yearly meetings with paperwork that remains in a folder for most of the year.
We ask staff to construct their own Action Plan for the year and talk about their progress in regular coaching discussions.
